Peer Review Policy
Cochrane Neonatal has a curated group of neonatal researchers and systematic reviewers from around the world to serve as peer reviewers on each new Cochrane Neonatal protocol and review. We invited these peer reviewers to join our team as Associate Editors, in order to create a community dedicated to ensuring best practice in systematic review methodology. Additionally, these reviewers provide a wide range of clinical and research expertise. When additional expertise is needed, we reach out to other peer reviewers in the neonatal community.
Our peer reviewers critically appraise all new Cochrane Neonatal protocols and reviews. Reviews being updated for the Cochrane Neonatal library, are peer reviewed as needed, depending upon content and the extent of the update.
